Rosy de Prado

Rosy is from Mexico City and immigrated to the United States in 2013. With a trajectory of 10 years as a therapist and community work, she joined Latino Health Access in Santa Ana, CA. She worked for 6 years developing curriculums for Mental and Physical Health about prevention, education, and early intervention for immigrant families. She trained and supervised volunteers and community workers. As MH coordinator, she collaborated with community clinics and institutions like Santa Ana School District, UCI, Pepperdine University, Girls and Boys Club, Early Head Starts, among others.  


Trained as a Medical Family Therapist, Rosy has developed programs for children and families with chronic and health challenging conditions like diabetes, overweight, disabilities, among others. 

Currently, with 20 years of experience as a counselor, coach, community worker, and faculty, Rosy is passionate about working with children, youth, and their families in finding new hope for their lives.
